Weblog Commenting by HaloScan.com

My vision is to create a business from my garden, so that I can afford to leave my job, have the garden as income, and paint and write. I also want my customers to read the story of my garden, look at pictures, and get an idea of the process of the work of the garden.

It gets really hard to post on the weblog about personal things now. Because what I recently went through had to do with someone else, and how to write about it, without invading their privacy, I don't see how I can do that.

And the circumstances became overwhelming, and very dramatic, life and death, actually, but it seem inappropriate to write anything about it. And be very selective with whom I shared the information about the circumstances.

So I am going to write about superficial things. They still are things that mean something to me, but compared with the reality of the recent events in our lives, they are very superficial.

Valentines--I bought a bunch, and intended to send them to my father, my stepmother, my three brothers, and my sister. With every intention to do so, and to keep on making my amends to my family, I walked over to the drugstore on my lunch hour and bought them. All pink and shiny, and full of loving sentiment. I also planned to write a letter and put it inside each one.

What happened? It is now Friday, and I didn't send one. I wanted to, but I couldn't get to it. Is this my unconscious working against me? I've decided to just send them anyway, minus the letter, and post them tomorrow, Saturday. And they will be late. No one is expecting them anyway, so they will all still be surprised to get one. Unless they happen to read this blog, in which case they will probably be surprised anyway that I actually followed through.

Movies--Netflix is the greatest!! We gave my son-in-law three months worth for his birthday, and when they came down to visit due to the radical circumstances, they brought an old movie they ordered on Netflix--Trouble in Paradise, which was really funny and charming and brought us into a bit of a better mood.

Seed-starting--have some germinating. I am really looking forward to Spring. Please, please hurry!

Painting--too cold in the studio. I found some nice wood to paint on, however, when the two guys up the road moved out, and they left it in their trash.
